A three-month art scholarship, coming from Kuala Lumpur, in the ‘cosmopolitan city of Frankfurt, (...) full of museums and activities’.

From a bored Kuching working girl to busy Kuala Lumpur mother with three children, I would transform never-ending daily routine into daily aesthetic ritual, forever solving problem calmly cum creatively along the way, to have my life change for better. In order to have free space and time for me to paint my alter-ego on canvas to keep my sanity. From dreamy mother to fairy godmother to Fairly Good Mother, I am a weaver who dare to day dream big. I weave facts and fictions, figure, flora and fauna, folklore and fairy tale, fubulation and frustration into fashion, into food in future, I worked as part time art instructor to support my creative career. Kept on joining art competitions and open calls that won me life changing rewards. A free three years art scholarship to study fine art in Malaysian Institute of Art, away from hometown. An eye opener Commonwealth fellowship in Art and Craft in having a lonely six months art residency in Western Sydney suburb, away from my comfort zone. A museum and activity-packed basis art residency in cosmopolitan Frankfurt, away from my sickly hubby.
